Working with local partners to remove old refrigerant stockpiles in Chile
Since 2020, Tradewater worked diligently with support from local partners to find and remove remaining refrigerant stockpiles across Chile. In collaboration with local waste managers, we have collected old CFC stockpiles from private owners and provided an end-of-life solution for used refrigerants found inside aging equipment.
In 2024, the CFC and HCFC refrigerants we acquired were successfully exported to Europe, where they were destroyed.
